Hardback Notebook Bookbinding Workshop

£67.00

Sunday 29th November 2026 | 10am-4pm | Boston Spa Village Hall | £67 | 10 places

Immerse yourself in a day of hands-on creativity and discover the traditional craft of bookbinding at Boston Spa Village Hall (LS23 6AA ).

During this friendly workshop, you’ll learn the techniques of traditional bookbinding while making your own hardback notebook from scratch. You’ll be guided through each stage of the process, from sewing the pages by hand to covering the boards in high-quality bookcloth. A selection of bookcloths will be available, so you can create a finished piece that’s unique to you.

This informal, small-group workshop is designed with beginners in mind, so no experience is needed. The minimum age is 14.

The day runs from 10am to 4pm, with a break for lunch. All materials and tools are provided, along with tea, coffee and cake. Please bring your own lunch.

Your workshop is led by Natalie of Wren & Weld.

Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, in the order payment is received. If you book by email or WhatsApp, we’ll send you an invoice and your place is secured as soon as it’s paid. You can book here, or by emailing hello@wrenandweld.com or messaging 07519 601820 on WhatsApp.

The workshop involves sharp tools, needles and adhesives. Natalie will show you how to use everything safely, and we ask that you follow those instructions. Please tell us before the day about any access needs, allergies or health conditions we should know about.
